Patterns, paintings and posters: relax and enjoy making art inspired by the artefacts and lives of the Duleep Singh family, with community artist Rachel Duffield.Inspired by artwork in the collection -including work by Prince Frederick Duleep Singh- and the architecture of the building, we will relax into imaginative creativity with no rules! After some fun exercises to explore what watercolours can do, we will enjoy the process of turning simple splodges and lines into delightful miniatures and abstract shapes. You will finish the day feeling refreshed and inspired. This workshop uses pencil, fineliners, aquarelles and watercolours on multimedia paper. All materials will be provided, but please do bring along your own favourites if you wish!
Free thanks to funding from Prince Frederick's Thetford Museum Project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
