THIS IS SOLD OUTNO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR
Here at Undercover we are after a fair few years of trying to get this to work pretty chuffed to be able to bring SKIDS on board what is promising to be one of THOSE nights to remember.
Skids were formed in the summer of 1977 in Dunfermline Scotland and would go on to make 2 albums and seven singles before 1979 was ended and all bar one on the Virgin label. Arguably the biggest Scottish punk band of the 76-79 era, their most successful year was 1979 where they spent over half the year in the singles charts with hits like Charade, Working For The Yankee Dollar and their biggest song the top 10 hit Into The Valley.
The band have reunited several times to tour and to work on different projects including 2018 album Burning Cities and 2019 acoustic album Peaceful Times.
Fast forward to 28th Sept 2024 Richard and the band will be with us at Undercover in Guildford – going to be a goodun this and tickets will fly out once announced. https://skidsofficial.com
SUPPORT THE FALLEN LEAVES
We needed a cracker of a band to support the Skids and we are pleased to be able to bring in The Fallen Leaves as support for the 28th. Punk / Mod / Garage / Beat If you can imagine a cross between The Who and The Ramones you might get somewhere close….
Simple Songs For Complex People. Punk Rock For Gentlemen. No Jeans. No t-shirts. No Cover-Versions. The Fallen Leaves believe in the DIY Punk ethos. Song, Sound and Performance are all. Recordings are live, minimal overdubs. As the self proclaimed champions of the glorious underachievers The Fallen Leaves ask you to remember … Simple and easy are not the same thing. https://www.musicglue.com/the-fallen-leaves/
As we say at Undercover see ya down the front or at the bar.
