We’re continuing our new season with something truly special! On 30th September, we’ll be hosting our very first screening at the beautiful Bio Capitol in Sankt Eriksplan – and we’re thrilled to announce it will also be the first showing of "Sentimental Value" with English subtitles in Stockholm. Bio Capitol have also been kind enough to offer us a special SICC discount.As always with SICC events, we’ll gather after the screening to meet, chat, and connect – this time in the cozy surroundings of Capitol’s own stylish café and bar.
About the Film:
Sisters Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, the charismatic Gustav, a once-renowned director who offers stage actress Nora a role in what he hopes will be his comeback film. When Nora turns it down, she soon discovers he has given her part to an eager young Hollywood star. Suddenly, the two sisters must navigate their complicated relationship with their father — and deal with an American star dropped right into the middle of their complex family dynamics.
From celebrated Norwegian director Joachim Trier (The Worst Person in the World), Sentimental Value is already tipped as a major Oscar contender and was one of the most talked-about titles at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
