Saturday, July 27, 9:30 am – 2 pm (approximate end time)
Fee: Members $17.50, Non-Members $25 Boat rental is $15.

Audience: Ages 8+; Youth welcome but must share a boat with an adult (canoes are available). 16 and up may paddle solo.
The Kalamazoo Nature Center, the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council , and Open Roads have partnered for another Love Your River Day!
We will ride the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail to the starting point of our river trip. Paddle together down the Kalamazoo River with naturalists, river experts, and lifeguards through KNC natural areas, past heron rookeries and an eagle’s nest before breaking for lunch on the KNC River Deck. Supported by the KRWC, KNC, and Open Roads.
If you need a boat, please register for equipment during registration. Helmets and life jackets are required for participation in this event. All participants will need their own bike for this event. Start time and instructions will be shared with registered guests. Donations are welcome. Help us support events like this in the future.
