Are you a free-motion quilter who is looking to increase your skills? This project-based retreat takes you to the next step! We’ll explore how to create a quilting plan and execute it using many different free-motion techniques, integrating great tips and tools from the Studio Educators. You’ll go home excited to tackle your next quilting project.*Attendees need to be able to load, thread, and tension a longarm machine.
This retreat is taught on Amara 20s (one person to a machine). However, the techniques are applicable to all HQ longarm machines.
All kits, fabric, thread and supplies will be provided for the retreat.
Classes begin at 9:00 am each day. On Day 1 and Day 2, classes end at 5:00 pm followed by a dinner.
Day 3, class will end at 12:00 pm followed by a lunch.
An outgoing flight after 3:00 pm gives you time to make your flight.
Cost is $1,295 per person.
3 lunches, 2 dinners and an educator trunk show.
