A six week program teaching your Tween how to understand her feelings, stay calm and weather the emotional storms! This program has been developed to delve deeper into learning about and managing emotions effectively. The girls will gain knowledge around all of the different emotions they feel and why these emotions occur. We will learn how to understand our emotions through many different methods including listening to our physiology, they will be taught the benefits of the 'name it to tame it' theory, we will discuss our amazing brain and what it means to 'flip our lid' and how to prevent that from happening. The girls will also learn multiple calming strategies to assist in moments of high emotion. This program will be jam packed of information and tools for their toolbox.
The program will be run on the following dates:
Wednesday 24th July | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Wednesday 31st July | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Wednesday 7th August | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Wednesday 14th August | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Wednesday 21st August | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Wednesday 28th August | 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Registrations will close on 9th July 2024.
