Will you be going off somewhere to celebrate Christmas with your family by blood? Or are you maybe spending Christmas on your own? Before you do this, get together with your friends and community to celebrate mid-winter on one of the darkest nights of the year!On the 23rd of December we're inviting you to a candlelit evening of storytelling and music dedicated to the Cailleach, the dark goddess of Winter, of Death and of letting go.
Storyteller Amanda Quartey - based in Pembrokeshire, Wales - will be sharing a story inspired by this land and time of year, as well as leading us through a little ritual of releasing what must go when making space for the new that is to come. The evening will also include music by local singers and musicians, warming soup and dessert, punch, hot drinks and lots of time to laugh and celebrate with those that you hold dear.
