No more tickets will be made available.Join the Bob Dylan Center for an evening of conversation and performance with legendary singer, songwriter, producer, concert impresario and soundtrack visionary T Bone Burnett, marking the release of his highly acclaimed new album, “The Other Side.” Burnett will take part in a 45-minute onstage conversation with BDC Director Steven Jenkins, discussing highlights from a fifty-year career that includes touring with Bob Dylan on the Rolling Thunder Revue; producing landmark albums for dozens of artists including Elvis Costello, Elton John, B.B. King, and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss; and creating singular soundtracks for films such as “Crazy Heart” (for which Burnett was recognized with an Academy Award and a Golden Globe), “Walk the Line” and “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
The conversation will be followed by a six-song live performance by Burnett — accompanied by his longtime collaborator, guitarist Colin Linden — showcasing songs from “The Other Side.” The album was described by Mojo magazine as “probably the most honest reflection of himself he’s ever made” and by Uncut magazine as “supremely inviting, warm and ruefully radiant” and “a crown on a career still going strong.”
