Cat Wells Blues Band closes out Vernon’s 25th Anniversary. A New Years Eve six-piece blues party helping turn the page forward into 2025!
Rounding out our 25th Anniversary celebrations will be Cat Wells, a Canadian Blues artist, vocalist, and song writer with bold vocals and expressive stage presence.
Cat’s ever flexible, near four octave voice has been compared to Susan Tedeschi, Beth Hart and Janis Joplin. Her fondness of syncopation pulls her toward funky blues stylings. Cat’s early mentors were Billie Holiday and Etta James. She has been honoured as Vocalist of the Year, twice by the Okanagan Arts Council.
