Join the Friends and Common Roots Brewing Company as we step back in time to an age when Albany was one of North America’s biggest beer brewing centers.Beer Historian Craig Gravina, author of Upper Hudson Valley Beer, and Maeve McEneny Johnson, Director of Community Engagement at Discover Albany, will lead a guided walking tour of the cemetery exploring Albany’s rich beer brewing history. The tour will culminate with a complimentary tasting featuring beers from Common Roots Brewing Company.

Tour starts at Cemetery Chapel, and the walking portion of the tour will incorporate short walks and short drives in the cemetery.
