Join us for WTJU Rock's monthly Third Rail series on October 18, presenting SOLD KINGDOM––rust-stained, observational art pop by Leia Alexandra Manuel. Manuel’s project disturbs splashy piano melodies and intimate vocals with snarling synths and existential dread. It’s fueled by a lyric from Fleetwood Mac at their most embattled: “Rulers make bad lovers. Better put your kingdom up for sale.”
This show celebrates the release of Sold Kingdom’s third full-length album, "Distraction Portraiture: a study of attention diverted". Learn more at: thesoldkingdom.com
