Solar Splash with the Wichita Wind Surge! Jump into our Plunge trailer July 29th for a Solar Splash with the Wichita Wind Surge baseball team. Just like our Polar Plunge except not as cold. The highest fundraiser will throw out the first pitch in July 30th game & everyone that raises over $100 will receive a game ticket for July 30th vs NW Arkansas! The Solar Splash will take place at Riverfront Stadium in the parking lot across from the Ice Center, near south entrance of the ballpark. All proceeds go towards Special Olympics Kansas programming. By participating in the Solar Splash, you are not only supporting your community, but Special Olympics Kansas athletes. All proceeds raised go to help provide year round sports training and competition for athletes, health and fitness programming, and athlete leadership opportunities. Additionally, your contribution and involvement helps athletes achieve their goals, live healthier lives, and have a sense of inclusion in their community.
