kia ora hokianga hard - there is an energy wananga in TAKANINI saturday 15th november 2025 from 1pm-3:30pm. unfortunately the booking venue can only allow 25 people maximum. the wananga will be delivered directly by the solar energy supplier (he travels all around the country speaking to communities seeking an alternative to the rising cost of energy). there is a $20 fee for the wananga which will cover the venue hire, refreshments, cuppa tea, cost to hire an energy unit with solar panels for demonstration purposes and then the cost of the guest speaker as he will be driving from out of auckland to attend and then going home the same day. he can answer questions about the energy units... how much are they? can we make time payments or do they need to be paid in full? do they come with warranty? can you download an app and control them from your phone while you are out of town? how many discharges do you get from this unit? are they delivered or do I need to pick it up myself? is there a shop I can come to see you? all those kinds of questions can be addressed at the wananga.... and then you can see how to set it all up which is super easy actually. if anyone would like to register for this wananga just comment your email address here and I will send out registration forms.
