About this Event
Solano County Black Infant Health Program's Mocha Momma Thrives (MMT) Group will be hosting a culturally affirming, 9-week virtual sisterhood group, which will help us develop and redefine our thoughts about healthy mothering. We will have robust conversation about nurturing, attachment, communication, village support, resilience, self-care, etc., as well as culturally specific barriers of healthy parenting.
This group will take place each Wednesday, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, from August 7, 2024 - Septmeber 25, 2024. The last session date to join this cohort is Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Our Graduation Celebration will be in-person on October 2, 2024; Location: TBD.
This group is for any Black/African American identifying pregnant, parenting, bonus-parenting, or caretaker, female identifying person, ages 16 years old and over, living in Solano County.
