Solange Film Festival: Boys Go to Jupiter

Boys Go to Jupiter follows Billy 5000, a teenage gig worker whose routine is
upended when he befriends Donut, a gelatinous alien pursued by the Dolphin
Groves Juice Company.
Blending quirky 3D animation, lo-fi musical numbers, and
themes of capitalism and techno-feudalism, the film features a voice cast including
Jack Corbett, Janeane Garofalo, Julio Torres, and Elsie Fisher. Its unconventional style
has been praised for its originality and distinctive storytelling.
Boys Go to Jupiter made its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.
Director Julian Glander, a 3D artist and animator, has led projects for Adult Swim,
Disney, HBO Max, and Cartoon Network. A Pittsburgh native, Glander is thrilled to
present the film to an audience in his hometown.
