The States of Jersey Police are now recruiting for Student Police Officers in 2025.We are hosting two events to enable potential applicants to find out more about the exciting opportunities of a police career in Jersey. The event will give potential applicants an in depth view of the role and the opportunity to ask any questions ahead of submitting a formal application. We highly recommend attending the event to ensure you have all the information required for your application.
We are hosting two identical events, so please choose the best option for yourself.
Event 1: Wednesday 12 March 2025 6pm to 7:30pm
Event 2: Saturday 15 March 2025 9am to 10:30am
Amongst other things, we will be discussing:
- The role of a police officer and key skills and requirements
- Training, Tutorship and Probation
- Uniform and accessories
- Shift Patterns and Careers
- Fitness
- Welfare and Diversity
How to register for the recruitment event:
To enable us to manage each event you will need to register for the event you wish to attend. Please register as early as possible so that we can manage numbers:

3. Once we have your request, we will send you a confirmation email. You will need to bring this confirmation email and photographic identification with you to the event.
