8 Reale and Shreve’s parents, Crawford & Brenton McWilliams, invite you to the inaugural Soirée for Shreve benefiting 501c3, CTNNB1 Connect, and Cure, for promising gene therapy research. The cocktail party will be at 8 Reale on November 15th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. There will be hors d’oeurves, live music, a silent auction, and a cash bar. Cocktail attire is the dress. Their precious daughter, Shreve McWilliams, is one of 430 people in the world diagnosed with CTNNB1 Syndrome. The syndrome is an extremely rare genetic disorder caused by changes, pathogenic variants, or mutations in the CTNNB1 gene causing many developmental delays and symptoms.
The bulk of fundraising falls on the backs of the parents of those diagnosed since the syndrome is so rare and therefore not profitable for big pharma. The CTNNB1 research teams are so close to a gene therapy clinical trial but desperately need funds to continue the exciting progress.
Unfortunately, they still need to raise nearly $350,000 more by the end of 2024 or the project will completely stop and the children with CTNNB1 lose the chance to live an improved life.
100% of all ticket sales and silent auction proceeds go to 501c3, CTNNB1 Connect, and Cure, for promising gene therapy research. Can you please help us fund the cure for Shreve and other children worldwide?
