Julie Grossman, Professor of Soil Agro-ecology and Organic Food Systems, University of Minnesota, will talk to the club about Soil Health as it relates to home gardens. The club business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by refreshments and social time from 7-7:30, and the presentation at 7:30-8:30. We meet in the Saint Anthony Park Lutheran Church Fireside Room; enter off of Como Avenue. Parking available on Luther Place.
Visitors are welcome. We will also broadcast the meeting over Zoom. The zoom link will be emailed to members; for non-members, email [email protected] at least 10 hours before the meeting.
We have another year of great programs lined up. If you are interested in receiving the link before each meeting, please consider joining the club. Membership is just $20, and helps us cover honoraria for our speakers, the cost of Zoom and the equipment needed for our hybrid meetings, and the scholarship we award each year to a U of M horticulture student. You can join online here: https://stanthonyparkgardenclub.com/membership.html
