The essential nutrients plants need to survive and thrive and the role they play in plant growth and development
The basics of soil science and how it relates to soil fertility
About different nutrient sources including organic and mineral fertilizers
How to read a fertilizer label
How to evaluate and improve soil quality
Various ways to recycle and use nutrients including composting and using animal manure
