The UF/IFAS Extension Master Gardeners Help Desk provides basic soil and water testing services, including measurements of pH (acidity/alkalinity) and electrical conductivity (EC), which indicates salinity levels. The lab operates as an educational and informational service and is not an accredited analytical laboratory. Results are intended for general guidance in landscape and gardening decisions, including planting trouble shooting of plant failures and planting descisions, not for regulatory or commercial certification purposes.
