Dr. Yusuke Hamada, D.D.S., M.S.D. is a Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor and Program Director of Advanced Education in Periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He earned his dental degree from Kyushu Dental University in Japan and completed his periodontics residency and M.S.D. at Indiana University, where he also previously taught. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Hamada has been recognized with the AAP Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics (2017) and the AAP Foundation Nevins Fellowship (2019). His clinical and research focus includes periodontal and implant tissue regeneration, digital technologies in treatment, and peri-implantitis management.
