Soft Pastel Portraits: Beginners2 Day Workshop • Friday & Saturday:

Join our experienced artist instructor, Gary Smith, as you re-imagine portraiture and how to understand the features that make us all unique. This two-day soft pastel workshop will include detailed exercises in recognizing and recreating facial features, helping you gain the ability to create expressive and lifelike portraits.
Gary will offer demonstrations of feature drawing and portraits, and you will explore methods to create more lifelike three-dimensional renderings of the human form. This class will include a 30 minute lunch break on Saturday, so please bring a packed lunch or feel free to pop out for a quick bite.
Use of all supplies included in the price (pastels, paper, erasers, etc). You are welcome to bring your own pastels to explore if you like, otherwise just bring yourself!
