Put on your poodle skirts and roll up your jeans- it’s time to twist, jive, and rock ‘n’ roll! The Southern Cultural Heritage Center (SCHC) is thrilled to present a Soda Shop Sock Hop! Step back into the fabulous 50’s for an evening filled with classic tunes, dancing, coke floats, and retro fun. Get ready to rock around the clock with a twist of line dancing flair! To keep the floor hopping all night long. From classic jukebox tunes to fun line dance favorites, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re ready to swing across the dance floor or just kick back and enjoy the vibes, this is a night you won’t want to miss. There will be light refreshments, a cash bar and concession stand, and of course…dancing!!!
Join us on Saturday, September 13th in the SCHC Auditorium. There will be a dance tutorial from 6 to 7 pm and the Sock Hop from 7 to 9 pm. A Dance-Off will be held from 8:00- 8:30 pm with the winner(s) announced at the end!! Don’t miss this rockin’ good time!!! Tickets are $15/person and may be purchased at the door or on Eventbrite.com!
