Sock Monkey Workshop, Wednesday, September 24, from 5:30-8:00pmFacilitated by POWER Board Member Kevette Palmas. At this workshop for low-income folks, we will each make a sock monkey & write a story to go with the sock monkey, for the Sock Monkeys for Social Justice Project. The sock monkey can represent you or someone you know. Optionally, the Sock Monkeys and their stories can be displayed and for sale at Arts Walk at POWER or you can take it home. It's your monkey, do what you want. (Also, Kevette is very talented in doing designs of other animals too)
Food and childcare provided!
Let us know of any accommodations you have around childcare for your neurodiverse or disabled child, different temperaments, allergies, etc.
