About this Event
Compassion and Action is an event to celebrate Social Work Month. It will focus on celebrating and highlighting the critical role of social workers in fostering change, advocating for vulnerable populations, and driving social justice.

Showcasing how social workers provide empathy, understanding, and emotional support to individuals and communities.
Personal stories and testimonials from social workers and those impacted by their work.
Action for Change:
Exploring how social workers turn compassion into action through advocacy, policy change, and community initiatives.
Workshops or panel discussions on effective strategies to address social issues such as mental health, homelessness, child welfare, and social justice.
Empowering Social Workers:
Providing resources, networking opportunities, and self-care strategies to help social workers sustain their impact.
Recognizing outstanding contributions and innovations in the field.
Engagement and Advocacy:
Encouraging attendees to take an active role in advocating for policies that support social work and the communities they serve.
Calls to action for supporting legislation, funding, or community projects.
