SOCIAL WALKS By Canines On Cue

Join professional dog trainer Seb and a growing community of dog lovers and enthusiasts for a fun, educational afternoon of connecting with your dog and owners alike.

BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.

The intention of these social walks is to provide a safe and controlled setting for dogs of all levels of training to build NEUTRALITY around other dogs. It is for this reason that on leash meetings are NOT PERMITTED. Far too many dogs on the Gold Coast are OVER or UNDER socialised -meaning over-the-top excitement, or fear reactivity. The purpose of these classes is to convince your dog that YOU are the most exciting thing in any given environment, and to build calm neutrality around other dogs.

WHAT TO BRING:

🐶 A hungry dog! All ages, breeds, shapes and sizes welcome.

🍗High value treats in an accessible bag (cooked chicken, PRIME100, fresh meat)

🪢 Regular flat leash and your training/walking collar or harness. (All tools welcome if used correctly)

🎾 Your dogs favourite toy to play with.

✨ Good vibes and a friendly attitude!

RULES:

🛑 Absolutely NO on leash meetings. We have dogs of all levels of socialisation - ranging from over excitement to extreme fear and reactivity.

🛑 Please respect distance between each dog. Remember, this is not a dog play session.

🛑 Maximum two humans per dog. Please no children playing ball games near the class.

🛑 You must have control of your dog. If you lose control or drop the leash, we follow a strict 2 strikes and you are out rule. This is to ensure the safety of everyone and their dogs.
