Our November walk will be on Saturday 16th at Langsett Reservoir.🖼️
Path hugging the water’s edge all the way to Little Don River, which you’ll cross to head across the moorland slopes. Enjoy the stunning views as you ascend the moorland hills, taking in stunning vistas of the Little Don Valley below. 🏞️
Descend along the Thickwoods Brook to the reservoir’s edge. You’ll come across the ruins of the North America Farm, which was used as target practice in the Second World War. Indents of the bullets can still be seen in some of the stones.🌳
This walk is dog and child-friendly, so don’t forget to bring them along!🐕👪
