About this Event
D.E.A.R. Petersburg (Drop Everything And Read) is part of our Social SaturnDaze series—an invitation to step away from screens, slow down, and reconnect in real community.
Join us Friday, February 14th (and again Friday, March 14th) from 1:30–3:00 PM in the Haus on Market Street library for a cozy, low-pressure reading gathering designed for all ages. Bring a book you love, grab something from the shelf, or come just to listen and be in the space. This isn’t school and it isn’t a lecture—it’s a shared “biofield” moment: quiet presence, focused minds, and neighbors building community one page at a time.
New for the Lil’ Lights: We’ll also have a Storytime for the Lil’ Lights, creating a fun and welcoming space for young readers to enjoy books together.
And while you’re here, Shop w/ The P.L.U.G. will be open—pull up and browse while you’re in the building. Kale chips and ginger hibiscus tea will be available during the event.
This gathering is donation-based. Your contribution helps keep Social SaturnDaze growing and keeps free/low-cost community experiences alive in Petersburg.
