Pull up to Haus on Market for a men-centered evening built on strategy, warmth, and real fellowship. Chess & CHILLi is a dedicated space for men to slow down, sharpen the mind, and reconnect—hosted by Men Crying In The Wilderness.
This gathering blends the timeless calm of a chessboard with the comfort of a hearty bowl of plant-based chili and fresh cornbread. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just learning the moves, you’ll find a relaxed environment where men can sit together, build community, and enjoy a meaningful night without performance or pressure.
We’ll have multiple chess stations set up throughout the space, creating room for conversation, friendly competition, and quiet reflection. The chili will be crafted by Chef Muhu or The Vizza Godz—keeping it plant-based, flavorful, and aligned with wellness.
And this night has purpose beyond the room. A portion of the proceeds will support the Kemetamorphosis: Journey 2 Kemet, helping the Young Pharaohs of Petersburg travel to Cairo and Luxor for a transformative educational and cultural experience.
