Join Esquimalt Recreation and Enigmatic Events Collective for a Thrilling 1920’s themed Murder Mystery Night in the Archie Browning Lounge. Dress in your finest 1920’s outfit, grab a drink, and work together to solve The Romeo & Juliet Thing!It's 1921, and tonight is the annual underworld shindig. All the gangs of Victoria have agreed to gather at this neutral venue, and pledge no violence, but most attendees are pushing to get to the bottom of recent events. Everyone wants to find out who is responsible for the murders of two young folks - members of rival crime families found dead together in the seedy underbelly of the city. Juliet Cusack was the daughter of the leader of the Cusack gang - smugglers and forgers; while Romeo Moy was a scion in the Moys, who run the gin joints, flop houses, and gambling dens. Only adding to the drama, the Johnson mob is a small-time operation with plans to get bigger. The repercussions of this tragedy are just beginning to emerge. No one messes with these families and gets away with it!
