Session 1: Birds, Bees, and SSPsReady to get the flock out of the single life?
Join us on February 6th from 6-8 PM to learn about how zoos plan for the survival of species & how pollinators impact everything around us, before fla-mingling with potential matches.
Guests ages 21-35 are invited to Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden, after hours for our new speed dating event: Social Safari! Each event will begin with a short talk highlighting how love occurs in the animal and plant kingdoms and how zoos help make the magic happen! Then, participants will get a chance to meet potential mates through a variety of activities and games. From one-on-one chats to solving animal and plant-themed problems by working together and more!
Tickets are $25.00, capacity is limited, and a short questionnaire will be required upon registration to help us create groups for potential matches!
Tickets include (2) drinks of your choice, courtesy of Leroy’s Tavern & Coca-Cola Consolidated, and chips and salsa will be available, courtesy of Hacienda.
The event will be located in the Koch Carousel Event Lodge with additional stations in the Kley Building.
Please note: The remainder of the zoo will be closed, and animal visibility will be limited.
