Join us for an interactive workshop with Shaun Loney to learn how we can modernize the relationship between governments and the nonprofit sector, using powerful tools such as social procurement and outcomes purchasing to get what everyone really wants. Get more impact per dollar spent or invested, meet social needs with greater agility and effectiveness, and reduce costs and overhead while delivering our mandates better than ever before. This workshop will highlight several innovative approaches from across Canada and will focus on building competencies around new tools of social innovation.
This workshop is designed particularly for individuals who work for any level of government, or for individuals who are a part of a larger business with a giving strategy, a charity, a foundation, or other funder. We will discuss how funders across Canada are using measurable, impact-oriented, and socially-beneficial approaches to re-imagine their relationships to the organizations who generate the impact that we need in our communities.
