Looking for a night of pure, ridiculous fun? Bullshot Crummond will be charging into The Rondo Theatre this summer and in the meantime we're inviting you to read the play with us and blast off the post-Christmas blues with a bang!
Expect a dastardly, moustachioed super-villain with world domination on his mind, his glamorous and ever-scheming assistant, a fragile heroine with an endearing lisp, and of course Bullshot himself — the blustering, overconfident hero who means well but rarely has a clue. Together they blunder through a whirlwind of improbable escapes, ridiculous disguises, and stiff-upper-lip heroics gone horribly wrong.
This gloriously silly spoof of 1930s adventure stories is packed with vintage charm, the perfect evening of escapist nonsense!
PLEASE NOTE: These are NOT auditions, simply a fun opportunity to get to know the play. Auditions will be held in February (full details coming soon.)

All our welcome at our play readings where we read the play in full, script in hand, having turns with each character and breaking for tea, chats and snacks.
We'll be convening at the Museum of Bath at Work around 6:30pm, kicking off the reading at approximately 7pm. If you think you might be late - come anyway! These events are very relaxed and we'd love for you to join us.
There's no pressure to read if you don't want to but everyone will get the chance to regardless of age/ gender/ etc.

Please note: There is not a dedicated car park at the museum but often reasonable spaces in nearby streets. There are also plenty of local buses to help you up the hill.
If the door is shut when you arrive, please ring the bell to the left hand side of the door, we'll come and let you in.
