About this Event
If ticket sales have ended and you still want to book a place, please email [email protected].
If someone has handed you the logins for the organisation's social media pages and you have no idea what to do, or if you simply want to increase traffic and engagement and build a fanbase, then this is the session for you.
Can you tell the difference between Tumblr and TikTok?
Can you create a clever, catchy posts for use across platforms?
Can you deliver that five times a day?
This course is designed for the social media novice, for those who don’t know a story from a reel and need a little direction on which platforms to use, how to use them, what to put on them and most importantly when to do it. We’ll share insider knowledge on managing charity and celebrity accounts, how to grow them and what makes them tick to help you.
The session looks at marketing, communications, audience segmentation, branding, design, and planning. This is about delivering seamless socials for use across multiple platforms (and print) to drive traffic to your pages and get people across your door.
We’ll even show you how to make a video without ever lifting a camera.
We will use Canva for some of this session. If possible, bring a touchpad, iPad or laptop with the Canva App installed (Canva can be accessed via a web browser on desktop) so you can get started on creating your very own campaign. If you can, take a little time before the session to explore Canva as this will help.
