RSVP HERE: bit.ly/AntiracistBookClubJoin Urban Abbey and the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation for a book club meeting to discuss How To Be An Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi on Tuesday, February 24th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
This meeting will be co-facilitated by staff leaders and community members from both the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation and Urban Abbey. A light meal will be provided alongside complimentary hot coffee, water, and iced tea.
This meeting will take place in person at 1026 Jackson St. Omaha, NE 68102. There is metered street parking on all sides of the block surrounding the location and a city-owned parking garage located directly across the street at the corner of 10th and Jackson St. This location is accessible by Metro Transit's MOBY service and by fixed route bus lines 11, 15, 13, and ORBT. It is also accessible via Heartland Bike Share and Lime scooters and the nearest bike share station is located directly across the street.
The venue has no stairs and is ADA compliant. If you have accessibility related needs, please let us know.
