The Social Explorers program is a 10-week after-school initiative designed to help children build essential social and cooperative skills in a fun, dynamic setting. A collaboration between Northern Outreach and Clinical Services and Science North, this program blends Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with exciting hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities. Children will work on skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and peer interaction while exploring the world of STEM in a supportive environment. This program is ideal for children who may need extra support in social skill development and thrive in hands-on, interactive settings. The program is overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), ensuring that each child’s learning is guided by evidence-based practices tailored to their individual needs. For more information, please visit: https://www.northernocs.ca/groups
