About this Event
Wednesday 14th December 10.30am-12.30pm | Novo Training, Newhall Place, 16-17 Newhall Hill, Birmingham, B1 3JH
The Social Enterprise Network is a citywide Meet Up for social enterprise and social impact organisations in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands - as well as anyone interested in connecting to the sector and doing more business for good.
Let's get together!
We'll be meeting bi-monthly in venues across the city to connect social enterprises to eco-systems for growth and new opportunities - as well as each other.
This month find us in the stunning home of Novo Training in the Jewellery Quarter.
Novo Training will be sharing information on their traineeship model and how it would benefit social enterprises, especially around cost and support. We will also hear from Novo Training Directors who have a venture capital firm, who will tell us more about social enterprise financing through the government SITR (Social Investment Tax Relief) scheme.
Of course, there will be plenty of opportunity for conversation, networking and connection. A light, festive-inspired brunch is provided too.
We hope you can join us!
About Novo Training
Novo Training aims to provide young people with an opportunity to gain the requisite skills to help them achieve their career aspirations or progress into further learning.
They support 16–24-year-olds, many from disadvantaged or troubled backgrounds, in breaking through 'glass ceilings' by helping them to realise what they are capable of, and how to build their futures.
This event is delivered by iSE (Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs) and funded the ERDF GBSLEP Growth Hub programme.
