Get ready to dance! • Fun & friendly • Beginners & all-levels, singles & couples, all welcome! Beginner-friendly: During the social dance we'll teach basic steps on the sideline
February New Format: starts like our regular dance 5:30-7:30pm - then transitions to Swing (West Coast, East Coast etc) - We’re doing this on a trial basis - Come try it out and let us know what you think
1st Sunday, February 1:
• 5:30-6:00 Lesson: Jive* / East Coast Swing technique - beginner to intermediate
• 6:00-7:30 Ballroom-Swing-Latin Social Dance with Mixer -- transitions to
• 7:30-9:00 Swing Social: West Coast, Lindy Hop, East Coast, Jive
* Jive is a joyful, energetic Swing dance closely related to Lindy Hop and triple-step East Coast Swing. It's very fun to learn and dance
( 3rd Sunday will be similar but instead of Swing added time will be Latin: Bachata, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, etc )
Join us for the entire evening or any part!
$8 non-members • $6 members • $5 students with current ID • Fundraiser for our college-age dance team
No partner required. Come solo, bring a friend, or bring a group—just show up ready to dance!
Music: We play the best songs we can find, from diverse artists and eras, from classical to jazz, Big Band to 2026 - selected by 1010 Dance Team of USA Dance Eugene
