About this Event
Our new Social Connections After Work Party is designed to be perfect for people looking for new friends and connections. So whether you are new to the city, tired of their current social groups, interested in sharing common interests or maybe even making business connections, this event is for you!
The night will feature ice breaker games with prizes and several rounds of speed socializing. Our past events have even been featured on MTV NEWS!
Here’s how it works:
- Everyone will be given a “Social Sheet.” This is where you can jot down the name and code numbers of those you want to share your info with. This is the only way that you will be expected to exchange info during the event.
- To get things going we will have an ice breaker game to liven up the atmosphere.
- Following that we’ll have everyone head to the Common Interests Corners (a quirky way of putting people with common interests together).
Finally, we will randomly put you with others to socialize with. You will meet with at least 15 people for 3 minutes each using both prepared and your own questions that will help you find people you may want to stay in contact with. Please note that you will be meeting both men and women. When you are finished you can stay at the bar and continue conversations with the people you met.

How many members will attend? This is a multi-Meetup group event. Based on other RSVPs and members who have already prepaid, we'll have a good amount attending!
Can I come alone? Yes about 90% of those attending will be coming solo. But you can also invite friends to join you. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
What is the suggested age range? 45 & Over
Is there a dress code? We recommend neat casual. No sweats. Jeans ok.
