SAVANNAH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONWHEN: Saturday, June 22nd, 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
WHERE: Savannah Grounds (Sports Complex Parking Lot, Sport Fields)
DETAILS: We're going to start off the Independence Day festivities with an action-packed day of
entertainment, fun, and fireworks!
Parade from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
-During the parade, it will have temporary road closures and barricades on Cotton Exchange Dr, Grayfox
Drive, Continental Congress and Magnolia, Long Leaf Dr., Greenview Lane, Dogwood Trail Carriage
Lane, Wisteria Lane, Sea Pines Dr.
-All Parade participants should meet at Savannah Elementary at 8:00 AM.
-Parade line up will start between 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM.
-To be considered for a door prize, you must be in line by 8:45 AM for judging.
- The parade route starts at Savannah Elementary Cotton Exchange Dr, turn right on Magnolia Blvd, and
ends at the Sport Pavilion Parking Lot.
-Only the right side of the street heading East on Magnolia Blvd will be closed from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
for the parade.
-No registration is needed for the parade entry. Social Committee Volunteers will be present at Savannah
Elementary to assist residents with parade entry.
-The Safety Committee will be volunteering throughout the Independence Day celebration.
- There will be no offloading for parade participants in the Main Parking area by the Sports Complex and
Main Park. Offloading is only permitted after the roundabout on Magnolia Blvd.
-All streets will reopen at approximately 10:30 AM when the parade has concluded.
Activities from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM will include:
Purple Crush Inflatable w/ Pool
Towering Palm Slide w/ Pool
Wacky Rush Obstacle Course
Wet Slide
(2) Wacky Combos
(4) face painters
(3) Balloon Artist

With our Summer Vendor Fair, support local businesses and wander around those that are located in the
parking lot. All vendors will be located in the Savannah basketball pavilion.

A stunning fireworks display is included in our grand finale with Adventure Fireworks, LLC. A stunning
14–16-minute fireworks extravaganza will take place close to Savannah Main Ballpark.
Standing, chairs, and blankets are permitted. No cars or golf carts parking will be allowed on the
Savannah Lawn.
