What Happens on a Led Ride?
Briefing & Bike Check:
The Group Leader will go over the route and expectations. Riders will complete a short practice ride in the car park area to check signals and ensure bikes are in working order.
During the Ride:
- The Group Leader rides at the front.
- The Assistant Group Leader stays at the back, ensuring no one is left behind and guiding the group safely through busy areas.
- Expect a café stop or a rest break—bring means of payment or your own refreshments.
Duration:
The ride typically lasts 2 hours, but actual cycling time is around 45-50 minutes with plenty of breaks.
Leadership & Training:
Our Group Leaders and Assistants are fully trained and qualified through Cycling UK.
