Meet your hosts:
Julie and Alex—siblings who grew up in the 90s and fell in love with the magic of the old-school dance scene. Today, they’re passionate about recreating that same energy and community—but without the hangover or come-down. Their events are 100% alcohol- and drug-free, offering a unique party experience that leaves you feeling uplifted instead of drained.
Julie and Alex both live an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle and know first-hand that all you need for an unforgettable night is a cup of cacao, good music, free movement, live drumming, and some banging old-school beats.
Alex has been spinning records on his Technics decks since the late 90s, while Julie was deeply immersed in the early 90s dance scene across Liverpool, London, and Manchester. Together, they bring decades of experience and passion to re-create the club vibe and collective joy of losing yourself in the music—only this time, it’s even more magical without substances.
Alongside their sober parties, they also host monthly community Kirtan in Rugby, facilitate cacao ceremonies and conscious connected breathwork sessions and have shared Kirtan at many festivals and sober rave's over the past few years.
