Join Naomi Veak, founder of My Sober Girlfriends--Portland’s first friendship community for growth-oriented sober women-- in a park near you every Saturday and Sunday during the month of May. Rain or shine.
Be sure to watch your email two days before for the specific location in the park.
Naomi is an experienced facilitator who has been leading heart-centered connection events for sober women since January 2020.
In our community you’ll find intelligent, compassionate women with professions like real estate professional, flight attendant, scientist, artist, marketing professional, counselor, yoga therapist, graduate student, and more. All women who have chosen an alcohol-free life, and enjoy connection, fun, and playing with their growth edge.
If you have a longing for connection with other sober women, this is your time to make that first step. You are not alone; we are here to love and support you.
Time: Be ready to start at 4PM, facilitated portion is from 4-5PM with optional open chatting time after that.
Bring: A chair for your place in our circle, and a beverage (optional)
What to expect:
- This is a facilitated event, which means that you should arrive a few minutes early because we will start right at 4PM as a group.
- Naomi will be guiding and supporting conversation and activities until 5PM when she will close the circle. You are more than welcome to stay and chat after that.
- As an attendee, you will be able enter your name in a raffle for cool prizes donated from local sober women offering art, experiences and products, including: Alena Botanica, For Bitter For Worse, Barb Burwell, Frances Waddell, Tiffany Marlink, Lionheart Kombucha, and Amarylis Fernandez.
- Relevant COVID safety protocols will be followed.
- You'll leave feeling connected and supported by other growth-oriented sober women in the Portland area.

Our last in-person event at a park was all the way back in August, and women are still talking about how much they loved it, how safe and nurtured and filled up they felt, even though they were nervous to go.
