A sober cookout for the queers! Come hang, play some cornhole, and get a plate of food and soda for $8. We're offering hamburgers, hot dogs, yummy sides, vegan options, and sodas! We offer a social space for sober or sober-curious LGBTQ+ and/out gender non-conforming/non-binary people to create connections and build community.

It helps our group build up a reserve for future events and operations costs. We are volunteer-based. If you'd like to volunteer, message us! We have planning meetings every 3-4 weeks on Sunday afternoons at the LRCC.
This event is for anyone who identifies as sober, sober-curious, not drinking or using at the moment, just looking for a chill queer group that's not alcohol or drugs focused, in recovery, a non-drinker or non-drug user, substance-free, or any other label you choose - the point is it's a SOBER space for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ and/or non-binary!
This group and its events are not a recovery program or affiliated with any recovery program or model - it’s a social community.
Open to all sober/curious folx who identify in the LGBTQIA+ community. We ask that you commit to being sober while at our events. We can't wait to meet you!

Public Events on Facebook/Privacy
This is a public event. We’ve chosen to set the guest list to private. Additionally, you can control the visibility of your response (after selecting Interested or Going) on the event page (select Your response is…. or Choose response privacy and click Only me to keep it completely private.) You can choose if you’d like friends to see if you're interested or going. They may see your status in a Feed post, notification, on the Event page itself or in the Events section of your profile. Event hosts will always be able to see your response and we keep this confidential and will never share attendees information.
If you want to keep your interest in an event private, you can save it:
1. From your feed, click Events in the left menu. You may have to click See More first.
2. Click the event and then click more below the event's title.
Select Save.
3. Events you've saved are listed below your upcoming events.
