IDI returns to The Skating Club of Boston for its 4th appearance with national tour of SOAR Featuring new works by renowned choreographers Rohene Ward from the skating world and Garrett Smith from the world of contemporary ballet. SOAR continues to set the tone for world class entertainment that pushes the boundaries of dance on ice as the venerable club heads into hosting the World Figure Skating Championships In March.
Ice Dance International (IDI) announces SOAR!, its national tour coming to 14 cities across the United States in early 2025. Featuring world-class figure skaters and work by renowned choreographers, SOAR! is a theatrical journey of artistry and athleticism that showcases the magic of skating through mesmerizing ensemble performances.
IDI’s 2025 tour is led by two-time U.S. Champion Alissa Czisny; Rohene Ward, Puerto Rican National Champion and choreographer for World Champion Kaori Sakamoto and U.S. Champion Jason Brown; and U.S. Open Champions Kseniya Ponomaryova and Collin Brubaker.
SOAR! showcases repertory by world-renowned choreographers Benoît Richaud, Cindy Stuart, Garrett Smith, Rohene Ward, and IDI’s Artistic Director Douglas Webster.
