Soapbox: The Story Sessions September 12th 2025

Soapbox and Tribe Porty are delighted to welcome you to another evening of Story Sessions! This month our theme is 'What is Normal?' What is normal? Is there actually such a thing as normal? How much does the concept of normal damage who we are.

Join us on September 12th from 6pm for an evening of storytelling; a space to gather, connect, and be inspired by true stories from our community. Story Sessions is all about sharing real experiences: a place where voices are heard and celebrated.

Storytelling is one of the oldest ways we connect as humans. Stories have the power to make us laugh, cry, reflect, and feel less alone. Through sharing and listening, we make sense of the world and discover authentic connection with each other.

Whether you come to share your story or simply to listen, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to embrace and uplift you.

We believe everyone should have access to this event, so there is a mix of free tickets and pay-what-you-can donation tickets (suggested donation: £5). All donations go directly back into supporting our local communities.
