Soap Making

Prerequisites: Basic fine motor skills. Attendees under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

Summary: During this class you will learn how to safely and effectively create your own homemade soaps from scratch! This class is perfect for anyone interested in learning a new skill of making soap. It’s provides a solid foundation in both the science and art of soap-making. Who are my instructors? Your instructors are Elizabeth and Alisa! Here's what Elizabeth has to say about herself:

I’m from Congo DR came to the U.S. in 2018 and started my education. I currently am a student at the University Of Utah majoring in Financial planning and counseling. I am a quiet person but I love people especially kids. I have work with kids at a Salt Lake county library for 6 months and I loved it even though I was limited by the language. That is one of the reasons I like being in the Hub and work here, I got to see and meet different people especially kids who always grab my attention. In my free time I like being with my family and watching TV together.

Here's what Alisa has to say about herself:

I have a bachelor's degree in industrial design. I have been creating something all my life, I really like it. I graduated from a dance school and have a diploma as a choreographer teacher. I am the champion of Ukraine in track and field.
