About this Event
After two years of online AGMs, we’re so happy to be able to hold our AGM as a hybrid event this year. We plan to have a real celebration of the Society of Authors in Scotland on Saturday 15 October, when we will meet again to hear from Heather Parry, our wonderful new Senior Policy and Liaison Manager, finalise election of new members to the committee and then have lunch together to exchange news and catch up.
This has been a busy year so far for the Society of Authors in Scotland and there’s a lot to celebrate together.
**If you would like to attend the AGM and lunch, please select the AGM and lunch ticket when booking. There's no need to book a separate in person AGM ticket**
Programme:10.40: Coffee and tea for members on arrival
11.00: AGM Reports from the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary
Finalising election of new members to the committee
Report from Heather Parry, SoA Senior Policy & Liaison Manager (Scotland), on her first nine months in post, and a chance for you to ask questions

Please note that we will ensure that all those attending meet each other and have a great time, especially those joining for the first time - we want everyone to be involved!
ONLINE ATTENDANCE
We’d love to see as many people as possible on the day, but any member will also be able to join us on Zoom for the AGM, and all will be able to contribute fully.

Attendance at the AGM, either in-person or online, is of course free. However, we do need you to book in advance so we know who is coming. Please book here for either in person or online attendance.
