University of Maryland Eastern Shore Extension's introduction to beekeeping class, scheduled for Feb. 7 ,is being postponed until Feb. 21 due to possible inclement weather. If you have already registered for the class, the registration remains valid for the Feb. 21 class. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Learn about bee biology, the commitment involved in beekeeping, equipment basics and local regulations — all without suiting up.
The class will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's Research, Extension and Teaching Farm on Stewart Neck Road in Princess Anne.
The class is limited to 15 people. The cost is $20 and lunch is included.
