Snowmass has plenty of terrain above 10,000 feet, so the snow here lasts later into the season. If you like spring corn skiing and riding, this is your spot once the lower zones start to melt out. For a full end-of-season bash, check out the always-entertaining Elk Camp Surf & Snow Beach Party going down on the Saturday of Snowmass' closing weekend. Elk Camp will host a high-energy après party featuring live DJs and hot tubs. Skiers and snowboarders are invited to take on the pond skim challenge, or simply relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Skiers must ski down by 4:15pm or take the gondola down by 5pm. Not a skier? The gondola is free after 12pm so you can join the party!*No outside alcohol allowed
